Great advice Maury, from the expert.

Here is a little input from a girl who has done a lot of online dating including two rounds with you (I don't claim to be anywhere near your caliber, but I am pretty dang good at it)

From a girl's point of view, at least from mine, in addition to posting accurate, current closeup and full body photos (which you have stressed the importance of) I want to see photos of what the person likes to do. If I run across a ho hum looking guy and the only photo posted is of him sitting in his living room, I can't imagine him out trekking the Inca Trail, cycling, skiing, whatever with me. If sitting in his living room is what he does, great, just include that shot and if I'm out there dating I'll skip right over him. I actually don't care much about what the guy looks like but I care very much about how fit he is, what he is into and his level of intelligence. (He also has to be presentable, as in I am proud to be on his arm anytime, anyplace).

Also, GUYS, if you have a date with a pretty girl--DON'T show up in sweats

Our grassroots environmental group was made a similar offer of corporate support from the local waste management company. They knew we opposed their landfill expansion. They assured us that the money came with no strings attached. We assured them we would continue to oppose their landfill expansion. They said of course, do what you think is right.

After much internal debate, our group decided to take the money, figuring since we would use it for a good cause, that was enough reason to take it. And guess what -- the waste mgt company started pressuring us to support their expansion. Not right away. We had about six happy months, before the ugliness started. Then it became very devisive. The carrots they dangled got bigger and bigger. Some of us realized we'd already started down the path to whoredom, and the only thing to be debated was our price. But some really liked that money, and the sense of importance it gave them to be patted on the back and called "good citizens" by the big company and electeds. It turned neighbor against neighbor. Our group split into opposing factions. Ugly, ugly, ugly.

Never again would I be part of taking money from polluters or exploiters of the planet. It is not worth it. I urge you to be very careful, and think this thing through to its logical conclusion. Monsanto is not the good guys. This is your 30 Pieces of Silver moment.
